Joey Bishop, age 63, of Flat Gap, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at his home.

Joey was born September 11, 1962 in Jackson, Ohio, son of the late John Bishop and Mandy McCoy Bishop.

He is survived by three brothers, Richard Bishop of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Steve Bishop of Florida, and Brian Bishop of Pikeville, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Seth Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025.
