Johnathan Ray Music, age 43, of Nippa, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on March 11, 1983, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to Newt Music Jr. and Dianna Clark Music, who both survive.

Johnathan is survived by his significant other, Belinda Alsobrooks; his son, Ethan Music of Nippa, Kentucky; his daughters, Andrea Alsobrooks (Daniel) Kelly of Huntington, West Virginia, Alyssa Music of Nippa, Kentucky, and Abby Music of Nippa, Kentucky.

He is also survived by his brothers, Gregory Darrell (Maria) Music of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, and Mike (Krystal) Music of Central City, Kentucky; and his sister, Barbara Auxier of River, Kentucky.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Thursday, July 9, 2026, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Wesley Music officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memorial Park. Friends may visit at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M.; on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 12 P.M. until 8 P.M.; and on Thursday from 11 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 1 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Johnathan's memory to the Jones-Preston Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
