Johnny Grimm, Jr., age 84, of Abbott Creek, Prestonsburg, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024 at Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center.

Johnny was born March 13, 1940 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Johnny Grimm, Sr. and Gladys Grimm. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Newsome Grimm and siblings, Tom Grimm, Thelma May Horn, and Loretta Harmon.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Claude Mollette officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
