Joyce Ann Kestner Dennison, age 73 of Boons Camp, KY passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.  Joyce was born October 26, 1947 in Paintsville, KY to the late Roger and Ola Elizabeth Rowland Kestner.  She married David Walker Dennison Sr. On December 14, 1968.  They were married for 49 years before his passing.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Walker Dennison Sr. Four brothers: Arville Kestner, Delby "Hardtimes" Kestner, Bobby Gene Kestner, and Kenny Ray Kestner.  One sister, Nancy Carol Kestner. One son-in-law, Paul Meek II. One brother-in-law, Ray Eslinger.  One sister-in-law, Evelyn Kestner.  And one special grandson, Tyler Joseph Horn.

She is survived by three brothers: Paul (Margie) Kestner of Tenn, Roger Kestner of Sitka, and Larry (Neda) Kestner of Salyersville.  Five sisters: Janette Kestner of Paintsville, Mary Kestner of Sitka, Donna (Mark) Ratliff of Boons Camp, Janie (Joe) Wiley of Sitka, and Judy Eslinger of Boons Camp.  Two sons: David (Angel) Dennison Jr of East Point and her grandson David Dennison III of Lexington whom she adopted.  Two daughters: Paula Meek of Flat Gap and Theresa (Mikie) Lemaster of Pikeville.  Ten grandsons:  Cody Land, Braxton Hensley, PJ Meek, Eric Horn, Logan Meek, Zachary Dennison, Danny Ray Lemaster, Timothy Lemaster, Conner Patrick, Jaxom Dennison.   Four granddaughters: Erin Dennison, Emily Horn, Abbie Meek, Skyann Lemaster.  Three Great Grandkids: Raelynn Horn, Abraham Cantrell, Brayden Vanhoose. Special Niece: Jennifer (Aaron) Compton and their kids (Kayla & Nikolas).  Special Nephew: RJ (Kim) Eslinger.

In addition, she held a special place in her heart for Shawn Dennison, Kevin Johnson, and Kim Cantrell.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 pm Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Mikey Jarrell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery, at Dennison/Eslinger Cemetery.  Private visitation will occur Sunday, December 13, 2020.  Family and friends may visit at Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday, December 14, 2020 and Tuesday, December 15, 2020 9:00 am until the time of service.
