Joyce Ann Meek Blevins, age 79, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home in Paintsville. She was a remarkable woman whose kindness knew no bounds. Her 79 years were a testament to love, generosity, and unwavering acceptance. As a hairdresser for over four decades, she not only styled hair but also touched hearts with her warmth and compassion. Beyond her profession, Joyce found joy in simple pleasures like canning and quilting, but her greatest joy came from the time spent with her beloved family. Her legacy of love lives on in the lives she touched, especially in the precious moments she shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she nurtured with endless love and care. Joyce's unconditional acceptance reminds us all to embrace one another with open arms. Though she may have left this world, her love will forever remain etched in our memories and hearts.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wayne Roger Blevins whom she married on May 14, 1966. To this union were born three children, Dirk Foster (Beth) Blevins of Russell Springs, Kentucky, Andrea "Andi" Darlene Hall of Staffordsville, Kentucky and the late Matthew Wayne Blevins.

Also surviving, one sister, Darlene (Darrell) Clark of West Alexandria, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Molli (Dustin) Benge, Dionna (Joshua) Collins, Jonathan (Brogan) Hall, Brooke (Morgan) Breeding, Amber (Chris) Humble, Dakota Blevins, Daylon Blevins, and Tara Blevins; thirteen great-grandchildren, Isaiah Purvis, Bella Purvis, Iylana Purvis, Addie Hall, Jonah Hall, Kathryn Collins, Sally Hall, Adrianna Humble, Kaylee Humble, Raelynn Humble, Micah Loy, Taylor Loy, and Ella Breeding.  In addition to her cherished family, Joyce is also survived by two special individuals whom she thought of as grandchildren, Stephany Collett and Tyler Fyffe.  As we remember her legacy of love, let us also honor the profound impact she had on all her cherished loved ones, whose lives were enriched by her unwavering presence and boundless love.
