Judy Carol Fairchild Sexton, age 76, of Paintsville, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born December 2, 1948, in Johnson County, KY, to the late Clate and Beulah Fairchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Samuel Sexton, in 2003, one daughter, Glenda (Chuck) Burke, three brothers: Winston Fairchild, Larry Fairchild, and Gary Fairchild, and four sisters: June Rowland, Rose Hitchcock, Juanita Hitchcock, and Darlene Hitchcock.

Survivors include three sons: Phillip Eugene Sexton, Randy Lee (Amy) Sexton, Jeffrey (Melda) Sexton, all of Paintsville, KY, two daughters: Tammie Sexton (Ted Blevins) of Paintsville, KY, Milinda (Eugene) Lemaster of Staffordsville, KY;  along with nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, in the chapel of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, with Larry Blair officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville, KY. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 12 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
