June Preston Arrowood, age 95, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Raceland, Kentucky.

June was born October 30, 1924 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Rev. Claude and Nellie VanHoose Preston. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouses, Raymond Lyons and Leonard "Dogwood" Arrowood and one sister, Helen Preston VanHoose.

She is survived by nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Monday, September 21, 2020 in the Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church with James Kelly Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in the Bascom VanHoose Cemetery, Nippa, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon Monday, September 21, 2020.
