Karen Lynn Meade Robinson, age 75, of Paintsville, passed away Thursday evening, March 12, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on July 11, 1950, in Johnson County, KY, to the late Homer and Billie Sublett Meade. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, James Michael Robinson, and one sister, Susan Meade Gay.

On October 12, 1967, in Clintwood, VA, she married Michael "Bud" Robinson, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters: Kim (George) Clifton, Gina Rae Robinson, Michelle Robinson, and Melissa (Ralph Shannon) Slone, all of Paintsville; eight grandchildren: D.J. (Samantha) Hill, Mikey Robinson, Taylor Lewis, Jared Wade, Andrew Clifton, Bailey Wade, Bray Slone, and Paisley Slone.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Sunday, March 15, 2026, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Chuck Slone, James Kelly Caudill, and Darrell Stepp officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville. Friends may visit at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. Saturday, March 14, 2026, and on Sunday from 11 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 1 P.M.
