Kathleen Cantrell Murray, age 85, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her home.

Kathleen was born August 5, 1936 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late R.P. Cantrell and Callie Collins Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Eugene Murray, one son, Phillip M. Murray; six brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Ken Murray, and Michael Murray both of Staffordsville, Kentucky; one daughter, Jane Elizabeth Ross of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren, Brandon and Bryan, and two great grandchildren Xander and Veronica.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in the Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church with James Kelly Caudill officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2022. Visitation Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
