Kathy Faye McKenzie, age 54, of Stambaugh, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at her home.

Kathy was born December 13, 1970 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the Edna Jewell Burchett McKenzie and the late Roy J. McKenzie. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Delmar Leeroy McKenzie.

In addition to her mother, Edna Jewell Burchett McKenzie, she is survived by nieces, Breanna McKenzie, Talisha McKenzie, Susan Litton, and Britta Rogers; nephew, Justin Castle; great nieces and nephews, Autumn, Kayleigh, Ariya, Ayla, Keilahni, and Kiason.

Kathy was a member of the Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jim McKenzie, Chuck Slone, and James Kelly Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Family Cemetery, Nippa, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2025.
