Larry Eugene Blair, age 80, of Sitka, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 at his home.

Larry was born March 10, 1944 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Irvin Blair and Mildred Marie Rice Blair. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Lee Crace Blair; siblings, Eleanor Fairchild, Arnold Blair, Kenny Blair, Leon Blair, Mervil Blair, Elzie Blair, and Lloyd Thomas Blair.

He is survived by three daughters, Eugenia Leigh Butcher of Volga, Kentucky, Vivian Marie Tackett of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Jody Hale of Staffordsville, Kentucky; one brother, Wendell Blair of Ashland, Kentucky; one sister, Carolyn Chitwood of Ashland, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Betty Blair Trimble; five grandchildren, Jarod Hale, Trenton Tackett, Blair Meadows, Trey Tackett, and Aaron Butcher; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Denvil Mollette officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2024 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
