Larry Logan Burchett, age 73, of Wittensville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at Pikeville Medical Center.

Larry was born December 24, 1950 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Julius Burchett Jr. and Garnet Green Burchett.

He is survived by his wife, Jeri McKinney Burchett of Wittensville, Kentucky; two daughters, Susan (Mark) Spencer of Wittensville, Kentucky and Jennifer (Mac) Lemaster of Paintsville, Kentucky; one step daughter, Stephanie (Jon) Elcewicz of Virginia, Virginia; one son, Charlie (Amanda) Adams of Meally, Kentucky; one step son, Stephen (Salena) Reeves of Seattle, Washington; three brothers, David (Sandra) Burchett of Zenia, Ohio, Keith (Connie) Burchett of Seamans, Ohio and Jeff Burchett of Staffordsville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Hannah Spencer, Abby Weddington, Trenton Adams, Skylnn, Chyann, Logan Adams, Liam Lemaster; and three step grandchildren, Zach, Zoe, Madison Elcewicz.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jim McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North East, Greenup County on Monday, January 29, 2024. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, January 26, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
