Lavonne Steenburgh Kiger, age 78, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky.

Lavonne was born November 1, 1941 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania daughter of the late George Martin and Georgia Spears Steenburgh. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Wayne "Rambler" Kiger and one brother, Charles Steenburgh.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Watkins of Paintsville, Kentucky and Sonja Castle and husband Paul of Sitka, Kentucky; one son, William Kiger and wife Kim of Paintsville, Kentucky; one sister, Karen Fitch and husband Roy of Springfield, Ohio; four grandchildren, Krissi Watkins, Levi Castle, Kelci (Josh) Tackett, and Karen (Austin) Conn; and eight great grandchildren, Ethan Tackett, Brayden Tackett, Victoria Pittman, Floyd Pittman, Aiden Conn, Weston Conn, Emily Castle and Jude Castle.
