Lily Mae Clouse, age 81, of Paintsville, passed away Sunday morning, June 7, 2026 at Paintsville ARH Regional Medical Center.

She was born on July 6, 1944 in Paintsville, to the late Jessie Wheeler and Sylvia Taylor Wheeler Eversole. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Clouse.

She is survived by one son, Gordon Clouse Jr.; one daughter, Tammy Rae (Houston) Meek of Williamsport; one brother, Troy Wheeler of Thelma; one sister: Mary Dailey of Flemingsburg; four grandchildren: Kelley Perry, Mark Holbrook, Justin Clouse, Brian Clouse; three great-grandchildren: Issbella Lynn Perry, Evelyn Grace Avry Holbrook, and Emily Mae Holbrook.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A private burial will be held at a later date.
