Lily Lawson Rice, age 86, of Snoqualmie, Washington, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

Lily was born March 7, 1936 in Lowmansville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ramzie Lawson and Lucinda Lawson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rice, one daughter, Cindy Sowers, and siblings, Lana, Delpha, Mary, Lee, Ernie, Ruford, Ethel and Willard.

She is survived by two children, Debra Lucas and Paul David Rice both of Spring Hill, Florida; six grandchildren, Wendy, Brandy, Diane, John, Jessica, and Shannon; a host of great grandchildren; and siblings, Jasper of Kettering, Ohio and Susie of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will follow in at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022.
