Linda Joyce Goble Wells, age 80, of Auxier, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Pikeville Medical Center.

Linda was born October 30, 1945 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Vernon Goble and Della Hatfield Goble. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Randell Wells, two brothers, Timoty Goble and Frankie Goble, two sisters-in-law, Diane Goble and Phyllis Goble, and one brother-in-law, David Reffett.

She is survived by one son, Ricky (Mary Ann) Wells of Paintsville, Kentucky; one grandson, Christian Wells of Paintsville, Kentucky; three brothers, Bobby (Pam) Goble of Meally, Kentucky, Danny (Carol) Goble of Auxier, Kentucky and Larry Goble of Auxier, Kentucky; four sisters, Sheila Greer of Auxier, Kentucky, Rita Reffett of Staffordsville, Kentucky, Donnie (Glen) Childers of Meally, Kentucky, and Connie (Phillip) Meek of Louisa, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Gethsemane Gardens with Daniel Masters officiating. Family and Friends are welcome to arrive prior to the service.
