Linda Sue Spears O'Brian, age 71, of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday at her home.

Linda was born July 10, 1953 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Willis Spears and Elma Honeycutt Spears. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Bobby Spears and Danny Ray Spears, and sisters, Cathy Spears and Lois Arms.

She is survived by two sisters, Lorria Gollihue and Patricia Spears; five brothers, James Spears, Willis Spears, Jr., Anthony Spears, Darrell Spears, and Brian Spears; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Sunday in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Gethsemane Gardens. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Sunday.
