Loraine Castle, age 84 of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Nippa, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 4 ^th , 2022.

Loraine was born January 6 ^th , 1938 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jonah Castle and Edna Adams Castle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Castle, one daughter, Yolanda Castle, six brothers, James Ashland Castle, Infant Ashland Castle, Jonah Castle, Jr., Billy Castle, Wilbur Castle, and David Castle, one sister, Loberta Spradlin, and one grandson, Jaxson.

She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Castle of Atlanta, Georgia; one daughter, Tamara Castle of Lexington, Kentucky; four sisters, Faye Lyons of Nippa, Kentucky, Kaye Schmidt of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Brenda Waston of Dayton, Ohio, and Janice Bone of Wabash, Indiana; ten grandchildren, Niko, Cameron, Ezekiel, Brendan, Lucretcia, Tyson, KoKo, Ziggy, Bailee, and Jagger; and two great grandchildren, David and Rain.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9 ^th , 2022 in the Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. James Kelly Caudill officiating. Burial will follow at Castle Family Cemetery, Whippoorwill Road, Nippa, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 7 ^th , 2022 and 12:00 Noon until 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 8 ^th , 2022. Visitation Saturday, July 9 ^th , 2022 will be at Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
