LT "Bunk" Goggans, age 89, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday at his home.

Bunk was born February 13, 1935 in Fort Payne, Alabama, son of the late Joseph Trumie Goggans and Grace Langston Goggans. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Barnett Goggans, one son, Jeffrey Sutton Goggans, three brothers and one sister.

He is survived by one son, Phillip Neal (Jennifer) Goggans of Paintsville, Kentucky and five grandchildren, Joseph Goggans, Susanna Goggans, Rebecca Goggans, Elijah Goggans and Cole Goggans.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in the Mayo Memorial United Methodist Church with Leslie Robinson, Amy Chapman, and Mike Schmitt officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Mayo Memorial United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
