Lucas Jordan Bevins, age 7, of West Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024 at Morgan County ARH.

Lucas was born December 22, 2016 in Boyd County, Kentucky, son of James Ashley Bevins and Sophia LaShae Ferguson Bevins. He is preceded in death by one infant brother, Austin Bevins.

He is survived by both of his Parents, James  Ashley and Sophia LaShae  Bevins of West Liberty, Kentucky; one brother, Gabriel James Bevins of West Liberty, Kentucky; maternal grandparents, Vonnie and Caroleene Gambill of West Liberty, Kentucky; Paternal grandparents, James Grady and Patsy Ratliff Bevins of West Liberty, Kentucky; one special caregiver, Tara Peyton; one aunt, Lynnette (Michael) Pruitt of Louisa, Kentucky; two uncles, Jeremy (Ashlei) Gambill of Salt Lick, Kentucky and Johnie (Mary) Gambill of Somerset, Kentucky; one special uncle, Anon Lee (Emma) Dickerson of West Liberty, Kentucky. Host of other loving family members, friends, church family, doctors and therapists.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Lakeside Free Will Baptist Church with Mike Jarrell officiating. Per- request of the family a private burial to follow at  Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit Lakeside Free Will Baptist Church, from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
