Lynn Franklin "Pat" Smith, age 67, of River, KY passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at his home.

Pat was born April 21, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Homer Franklin "Smitty" Smith and Burchie Skaggs Workman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Misty Smith.

He is survived by one son, William Jacob T. Smith of Ft. Lewis, Washington; two daughters, Rachel Lynn Smith of Paintsville, Kentucky, Mesha Smith Workman of Whitehouse, Kentucky; two sisters, Virginia Castle of Ashland, Kentucky, Mary Blevins of Williamsport, Kentucky; three half-sisters, JoAnn Gamblin of Florida, Alice Jones of South Carolina and Darlene Smith of Bardstown, Kentucky; and two grandchildren Elijah Beatty and James Patrick Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with James Kelly Caudill officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY.    Friends may call at Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
