Mable Walters, age 94, of Williamsport, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky.

Mable was born March 3, 1927 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Tom Austin and Cora Blevins Preston.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Walters, one son, Roger Walters and one sister, Annabelle Howard.

She is survived by two sons, Johnny Walters and Danny Walters of Williamsport, Kentucky, four daughters, Charlotte Brown of Ashland, Kentucky, Pamela G. Wells of Williamsport, Kentucky, Sandra S. King of Paintsville, Kentucky, and Esther Ward of Williamsport, Kentucky, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and special friend, Logan Hall.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Walters Family Cemetery, Williamsport, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021.
