Malta Crislip Ross, age 94, of Millersport, Ohio, formally of Flat Gap, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Bickford Assisted Living in Lancaster, Ohio.

Malta was born November 15, 1927 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Fred Crislip and Rosa Lee McKenzie Crislip.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Ross, Jr; step-mother, Samantha Lemaster Crislip; three brothers, Archie Crislip, William "Bill" Crislip and Roby Crislip, two sisters, Olive Mae Crislip Ross and Edna Faye Crislip Grim; granddaughter, Carmen Danielle Ross, and daughter-in-law, Clara Irene Ross.

She is survived by three sons, Danny A. (Judi) Ross of Lapel, Indiana, Rodney F. (Irene, deceased) Ross of Lancaster, Ohio and John K. (Melody) Ross of Millersport, Ohio; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 22, 2021, and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
