Burial: Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky

Mance Adams, age 79, of West Van Lear, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 where he passed away peacefully at Salyersville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mance was born on February 1, 1942 to the late Smith and Mary Alice Cantrell Adams. He was preceded in death by his brothers Billy Ray and Smith, Jr. and sister, Berdie Mae Blair.

Mance's surviving siblings are Mollie Fae Worden of West Carrollton, Ohio; Charlie (Karen) Adams of Louisa, Kentucky; and Cecil J. (Pauletta) Adams of West Van Lear, Kentucky.

Mance is survived by his five children: Wesley (Tammy) Adams of Hager Hill, Kentucky; Laura Adams of Meally, Kentucky; Bert (Anna) Adams of Meally, Kentucky; Tommy Adams of Meally, Kentucky; and Julie (Billy) Harless of Meally, Kentucky.

Mance is also survived by a host grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mance was well loved by all who knew him. He always had a smile and a witty or funny joke to tell.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Cecil Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021.
