Margie Belle Branham Spears, age 75, of Pickle Fork, Staffordsville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at The Jordan Center, Louisa, Kentucky.

Margie was born September 28, 1947 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ottis Branham and Okie Dale Lemaster. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Robert Spears; and one sister, Norma Jean Curtis.

She is survived by two sons, John L. Spears (Missy) of East Point, Kentucky and Robert E. Spears (Jenny) of Paintsville, Kentucky; one daughter, Tresa A. Tackett (Charles D.) of Staffordsville, Kentucky; one sister, Marsha Cantrell of Salyersville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Eric Tackett, Michael Tackett, Brittany Weddington (Joe), Kimberly Collins; eight great  grandchildren, Ryan, Jaxon, Braxton, Ella, Ellie, Lincoln, Cam, and Maddi; one great-great-grandchild, Mavis.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, August 5, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ray Davis officiating with burial to follow in the Spears Family Cemetery, Pickle Fork, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Friday, August 4, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon.
