Marian Lee Kelsey Schulz passed away on December 12, 2020 in Oil Springs, KY. Marian was born in Johnson County on May 26, 1932. She is the daughter of the late Jesse Arthur of Monticello, KY and Anna Audrey Caudill of Oil Springs.

After leaving home, she moved to Virginia where she met Robert Schulz. He was in the Navy's Air Division. They were married on April 30 ^th , 1955 and moved to Oxon Hills, Maryland.

She worked for the United States Department of Agriculture until she retired in 1987. During retirement, she enjoyed visiting the dog track, playing bingo, winning at the casino, cooking her world famous chicken & dumplings, keeping up with all of her family and spending winters in Palm Coast, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bob, three brothers Paul Francis, Charles Douglas and Bobby Jack, two sisters Boneva Jo, Elizabeth Jane, a nephew, Danny Lee and a niece Deborah Marlene. She is survived by her nieces, Jody Wheeler, Diane Howard, Gina Lane, Patty Williams, Sandy Prater and nephews JR Salyers, David Kelsey, Bobby Kelsey and Jesse Kelsey.  She is also survived by a whole host of great and great great nieces and nephews that she thought the world of. She is also survived by her best friend of 50 years, Jim Gates.

Marian Lee gave her life to Christ and was baptized by Pastor McCoy Taylor from Oil Springs Methodist Church on December 7, 2020.

Visitation & Funeral services will be conducted by Jones-Preston Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the following times: 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Monday, December 14, 2020 with the funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Highland Memorial Park Chapel in Staffordsville, KY.
