Marie Conley Kinslow, age 95, of  Nippa, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021 at Community Hospice Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Marie was born November 25, 1925 in Wheelersburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Bernie and Zelphia Gullett Conley.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Kinslow. She is preceded in death by four brothers, Bill Conley, James Owen "Buck" Conley, and Ova Curtis Conley, Nevon Conley; three sisters Martha Conley Borders, Nell Conley Hamilton, Betty Rose Conley Wallace.

Marie is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Barbara Ann and Danny Davis of Oil Springs, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Robert Davis of Lexington, Kentucky and Marna Davis of Moore Haven, Florida; four great grandchildren, Briana and husband Josh Price of Lexington, Kentucky, Kyle Tackett of Huntington, West Virginia, Harley Kilgore of Richmond, Kentucky, Megan Davis of Lexington, Kentucky; one great, great granddaughter, Scarlett Price and one sister-in-law Ruth Conley.

Marie loved to go. She went to the Senior Citizen Center everyday for lunch and played cards and visited with everyone. She would meet the girls on Saturday and have breakfast. She thrived on being with people.

Marie worked all her life. She cleaned house for people, worked as a store clerk. After moving to Ohio, she worked at Mansfield  Sanitation until she retired. She also did alterations for a cleaners in Loudonville, Ohio until she moved back to Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Sunday, October 31, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Kenny Pelphrey and Randy Haney officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson County Memorial, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021,  and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, October 31, 2021.
