Marilyn Jane Adams, age 86, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at Highland ARH, Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Marilyn was born July 29, 1934 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Bertha Litteral.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James William Adams, one brother, Richard Litteral and one sister, Jean Skaggs.

She is survived by one son, Rev. Dr. James William (Joy) Adams II of Maysville, Kentucky; one daughter, Margaret (Tim) Hazlette of Nicholasville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Thomas (Stephani) Hazelette, Jon-Marc Adams, James W. Adams III, and Emily C. (Brian) Boyle; and three great grandchildren, Keith, Lucy, Hartford.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at Highland Memorial Park with Brian Boyle and Ben Stephens officiating. Family and Close Friends are welcome to attend to the Graveside service.
