Mary Lou Blanton Music, age 91, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Paintsville ARH.
Mary was born August 25, 1930 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Ennie and Alta Conley Blanton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Music, one brother, Calvin Blanton and one sister, Edith Richmond.
She is survived by one son, Danny (Valerie) Music of Oil Springs, Kentucky; one daughter, Sherri (Donnie) Sturgill of Paintsville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Sam Coleman and Andrea (Jason) Rapp; one great granddaughter, Kendall James Coleman; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jason Rapp officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until time of service at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022.
