Mary Jane Fyffe, age 95 years of Keaton, Kentucky, passed away February 17, 2024 at The Life Care Center of The Willows in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Mary Jane was born November 30, 1928 in Terryville, Kentucky, to the late Arthur and Nannie (Ferguson) Skaggs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Fyffe, two sons Donnie Fyffe and Dallas Fyffe,  four brothers, Loman, Ottis, Cassie and Harvey Clay Skaggs, one sister, Lorraine Cantrell, and one great grandson, Brock Vatar.

Survivors include one son Phillip Fyffe and Carolyn of Valparaiso, Indiana; one daughter Lora Gabbard and John of West Union, Ohio; three sisters, Lovena Collier of Hebron, Indiana, Leona Salyer of West Liberty, Kentucky, Roberta and J.R. Sparks of Hebron, Indiana; four grandchildren Greg and Kennetha Fyffe of Aberdeen, Ohio, Carla and John Fleck of Indianapolis, Indiana, Michelle and Justin Pogue of Liberty Hill, Texas, and Amber and Brian Vater of Cincinnati, Ohio; ten great grandchildren, Taylor, Peyton, Gabe, Ty, Blake, Ella, Carson, Claire, Bria and Beau.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with James Wallin and Rick Keaton officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be, Greg Fyffe, Peyton Fyffe, Gabe Fyffe, John Fleck, Justin Pogue, and Brian Vater. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ty Fyffe, Blake Fyffe, and Paul Cantrell.
