Mary Elizabeth Davis Minton, age 75, of Hager Hill, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.

She was born on April 22, 1951, in Pikeville to the late Ann Skeens Davis. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Minton.

Survivors include one son, Jeremy Minton of Lexington; one brother, Miles Skeens of Pikeville; three nephews: Kevin, Chris, and Mark Skeens; and three special ladies she thought of as sisters, Gatha Justice, Camella Runyon, and Annie Shurtleff.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 A.M. on Monday, October 5, 2026, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home, with James Smedley officiating. Interment to follow in the Minton Family Cemetery at Hager Hill. Friends may visit at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M.; on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 12 P.M. until 8 P.M.; and on Monday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11 A.M.
