Mary Belle Powers Collins, age 81, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her home.

Mary Belle Collins was born February 22, 1940 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Orville and Anna Reed Powers. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Seaman Collins, five brothers, Isaac Powers, Larry Powers, Grover Powers, Gilbert Powers, and Clovis Sherman; two sisters, Vinnie Swartz and Betty Pettit; and one grandson, Bradley Reffett.

She is survived by five daughters, Maria Wills and husband Mike of Staffordsville, KY, Bonnie Reffett of Staffordsville, KY, Doris Hardin of Hager Hill, KY, Anita Jarrell and husband Jack of Flat Gap, KY and Amy Collins of Hager Hill, KY; four sons, Duell Collins and wife Wanda of Staffordsville, KY, Jeffrey Collins of Prestonsburg, KY, Bill Collins and wife Malisa of Dana, KY and Mark Collins and wife Brandie of Staffordsville, KY; two brothers, Hubert Powers of Van Lear, Kentucky and Vernon Powers of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2021.
