Burial: Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky

Mary Lou Rice Caudill, age 95, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Paintsville ARH.

Mary was born September 22, 1928 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Mose "Mo's" Rice and Mattie Watkins Rice. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Caudill and siblings, Hugh Allen Hale Rice, Henry Rice, Charles Clay Rice, Faye Sharp, and Twin Sister Martha Jean Spradlin.

She is survived by six sons, Gerald Leon (Lyda) Caudill, Stanley Dean (Kathy) Caudill, Bradley Keith Caudill, Jeffrey Scott (Michelle) Caudill, Freddie Vince (Renee) Caudill, Randall David Caudill; four daughters: Patsy Evelyn Stratton, Donna Rae Caudill, Paula Sue Caudill, Sherry Lee (Roger) Workman; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Rockhouse Free Will Baptist Church with Aaron Penix and Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Rockhouse Free Will Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024, and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
