Maxine Taylor Blair, age 93, of Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at St. Mary's Medical Center, in Huntington, West Virginia.

Maxine Taylor Blair was born October 7, 1928 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Enoch "Bob" Taylor and Evelyn Blackburn Taylor.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Blair, one son, Donald Ray Blair and one grandson, Scottie Hackworth.

She is survived by three sons, Marshall Blair, Jr. (Sherrie) of  Wabash, Indiana, Greg Blair (Chanda) of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Randy Blair (Jamie) of Van Lear, Kentucky; one daughter, Debbie Hackworth of Van Lear, Kentucky; one special daughter, Lauren McCoart of Van Lear, Kentucky; two sisters, Betty Davis of Paintsville, Kentucky and Joan Waters of Colorado;  nine grandchildren; twenty-three  great grandchildren; and host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 30, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Donnie Witten officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 30, 2021.
