Michael Leon Meadows, age 76, of Barnetts Creek, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

Michael was born April 13, 1948 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Vencil Meadows and Ruby Jewell Williamson Meadows. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Lee Colvin Meadows and one brother, Donnie Meadows.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Todd (Melissa) Meadows and Matthew Shawn (Robin) Meadows all of Staffordsville, Kentucky; one daughter, Monica Carol (Rick) Daniel of Staffordsville, Kentucky; one brother, Tim (Kathy) Meadows of Wittensville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Kealy Richelle (Jacob) Coleman, Bailey Brooke (Brady) Taylor, Macy Carol (Tate) Daniel, Dylan Michael (Allie) Meadows, and Jordan Alexandra (Devon) Meadows; three great grandchildren, Brooks Allen Taylor, Lyla Jewell Taylor and Elijah Michael Meadows; and two nieces, Laura Cook and Leslie Judkins.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Chuck Slone and James Kelly Caudill officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation Wednesday, June 12, 2024 will be at Tom's Creek Free Will Baptist from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
