Michael David Tackett, age 69, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 at his home.

Michael was born January 8, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio, son of the late Garland Tackett and Julette Green.

He is survived by one daughter, Tabitha (Nick) Johnson of Nippa, Kentucky and one brother, Buell Tackett of Paintsville, Kentucky.

Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 24, 2025.
