Michelle Rae Stapleton, age 37, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.

Michelle was born November 17, 1983 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of Sandy F. and Barbara Crum Stapleton of Staffordsville, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Alex Stapleton-Golden of Staffordsville, Kentucky; one sister, Jessica Stevens of Lost Creek, Kentucky; boyfriend, Paul Ferguson of Paintsville, Kentucky; best friends, Kelli White and David Michael Young; and her beloved dog, Jack.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Hedgel Golden officiating. Burial will follow in the Stapleton Family Cemetery, Route 172, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
