Burial: Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky

Mildred Irene Gambill Sharp, age 80, of Johnson County, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 15, 2023, at  Highland ARH.

Mildred was born April 7, 1943, in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the Lawrence Estill Gambill and Sadie Violet Painter Gambill.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Harold Sharp, five sisters, Mary Francie Skinner, Jean Ealey, Eula Eileen Camden, Naomie Barron and Sally Gamboe; one brother, James Lawrence Gambill.

She is survived by one brother, Earl "Buddy" Raymond Gambill of Paintsville, Kentucky and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December, 19, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Larry Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
