Mildred M. (Reed) Whittaker, 94 years of age, passed away February 24 ^th , 2022 at Meadow Grove Transitional Care in Grove City, Ohio.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, watching them grow, playing with them, and making memories they will have forever. She was also known for her love of sweets, especially Little Debbies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Whittaker.

She is survived by daughter, Martha (Tom) Harmon; son, John (Gwen) Whittaker; grandchildren, Mike (Shannon) Harmon, Lisa (Steve) Saksa, and Brent (Megan) Whittaker, Britny (Richie) Jackson and Joe Whittaker; great grandchildren, Chelslea Hazelrigg, Travis (Sarah) Harmon, Casey (Brock) Hopper, Kylee, Sydnee and Blake Saksa, and Marley and Lyla Whittaker; great-great grandchildren, Ella Hopper, Carson, Tripp, Tyson Harmon and Grayson Saka; very special friends, Floyd and Judy England.

Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel, 1346 South High St.

Local visitation at Jones-Preston Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 1 ^st , 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.
