Nancy Preston, age 55, of Paintsville, KY passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Paul B. Hall Medical Center, Paintsville, KY. Nancy was born February 9, 1965 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Herbert Ratliff and Lillie Preston. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Danny VanHoose.

She is survived by her companion, Buell Tackett of Paintsville, KY; one son, Leland Preston Tackett of Paintsville, KY; one daughter, Klarrisa LeShay Rice of Lexington, KY: one Sister, Anita Jean Haight of Berea, KY and two grandsons Kurtis Shane Michael Thompson and Landon Taylor Thompson.

Private funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Charles Nealey officiating. Burial will follow at the Preston Family Cemetery, Southside, Paintsville, Kentucky. Private visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2020 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.

Per the Governor's mandates, anyone attending the Private Visitation, Funeral service, Memorial service, or Graveside/Committal services are limited to 25 people total and face covering of some type required for everyone.
