Nancy Lynn Powers Tackett, age 72 of Saint David, Arizona, formerly of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 13 ^th , 2020 in Saint David, Arizona.

Nancy was born March 10 ^th , 1948 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Buck Powers and Emma Josephine Reed Pate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death on May 21 ^st , 2019 by her loving husband, James Earl Tackett, one son, Christopher Earl Tackett, one brother, Jerry Powers and one sister, Linda Powers.

She is survived by three sons, Craig Elliott Tackett and wife Bobbie of Warfield, Kentucky, Daniel Clayton Tackett and wife Deanne of Saint David, Arizona, Mark Anthony Tackett and wife Lisa of Little Elm, Texas; three brothers, Randall Powers of West Liberty, Kentucky, Roger Powers of Louisville, Kentucky, Paul Wade Powers of Georgetown, Texas; one sister Betty Hatcher of New Port News, Virginia; six grandchildren, Luke Tackett, Jared Hill, Katherine Halliday and husband Nick, Jessie Lynn Tackett, Emily Tackett, Colton Tackett and Vinny Miler II; and three great grandchildren, Jayda Dominguez, Elena and Connor Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21 ^st , 2020 in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Thursday, August 20 ^th , 2020 from 12:00 Noon until 9:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 21 ^st , 2020.
