Infant Octavia Jaymes Thompson, beloved infant daughter of James Thompson III and Rhonda Shepherd Thompson, joined the Heavenly Angels Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Pikeville Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Jake Thompson and Broderick Porter; four sisters, Breonna Woods (Jacob Smith), Chloe Woods, Addyson Porter, and Kamila Williams; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Shepherd, (deceased maternal grandfather, Ballard Shepherd); paternal grandmother, Cathy Thompson (deceased maternal grandfather, James Thompson, Jr.); and a host of aunts and uncles.

There will be no public services at this time.
