Pamela Lou Blanton Owens, age 62, of Oil Springs, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

Pamela was born March 31, 1959 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Henry Frank Blanton and Lizzie Williams Blanton Webb. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Adam Blanton, Leo Blanton and Hansford Blanton; three sisters, Henrietta Blair, Ruthie Cantrell and Mabel Blanton.

She is survived by her husband Roger Lee Owens, Of Oil Springs KY; one son, Willie Lee (Jessica) Owens of Oil Springs, KY; two daughters, Penelope (Dawn) Sosko of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Elizabeth (Bryan) Auxier of Paintsville, KY; one sister, Sina Blevins, Oil Springs, KY; six grandchildren, James Fernandez, Abby Auxier, Hope Auxier, Kaleb Auxier, Lillian Owens and Gideon Owens and also host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Brian DeWire and Bryan Auxier officiating. Burial will follow at Blanton Family Cemetery, Win Road, Oil Springs, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022  and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 24, 2022.

The Family Respectfully Request, that anyone attending the visitation and/or funeral to wear a facial covering of some type.
