Patricia "Patty" Ann Rice Lyons, age 82, of Sitka, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at her home.

Patricia was born June 25, 1940 in Johnson County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jim Burns Rice and Ella Maude Rice. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Darrell Rice and Bobby  Lyons; four brothers, Randall Rice, Bryan "Peck" Rice, Charles Otis Rice, and James Clarence Rice; and three sisters, Avis Lorain Fannin, Mary Ruth Green, and Opal Loretta Shear.

She is survived by two sons, Dr. Jason Rice and wife Tammy of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Darrin Rice of Wittensville, Kentucky; one sister, Phyllis Murray and husband Charles of Sitka, Kentucky; two step-children, Becky Kretzer and Bobby (Melinda) Lyons; five grandchildren, Patrick Rice and wife Dr. Kristen, Mallory Setser and husband Cody, Jacob Rice, Blair Rice, and Grant Rice; one great-grandchild, Mila Stephens; four step-grandchildren, Kim, Stacey, Austin and Brooke and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Harold Williams, Mike Marcum, Robert Blanton, and Jim McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow at the Rice Family Cemetery, Sitka, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022.
