Paul Ronald Skaggs "Black Beauty", age 73, of Lowmansville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026.

Ronnie was born July 6, 1952 in Lawrence County, Kentucky, son of the late Herbert Skaggs and Beulah Davis Skaggs. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Jeff Skaggs, Michael Skaggs, Charles Ray Skaggs.

He is survived by one daughter, Pauletta Marie (Monther) Aleisa of Lowmansville, Kentucky; four grandsons, Kyle (Amina) Rose, Dylan (Christian) Rose, Noah (Anna) Rose, and Aidnen Aleisa; three great-grandchildren, Nullain, Aurora, and Bella; along with a host of nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Johnny Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow at Skaggs-Young Cemetery, Young Branch, Lowmansville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Monday, April 13, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m.
