Paul E. Keaton, age 81, of Red Bush, Kentucky, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at his home.

Paul was born April 18, 1940 in Lawrence County, Kentucky, son of the late Hurshall and Elsie Mae Marshall Keaton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Roger Keaton and Jimmy Keaton.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Frances Barker Keaton of Flat Gap, Kentucky; one son, Dr. Andy Paul Keaton (Jill) of Pikeville, Kentucky; one daughter, Dana Keaton Collett (George) of Paintsville, Kentucky; one sister, Mary Rowland of Paintsville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Charles Paul Collett (Stephany), Jeffrey Allen Collett, Emily Anna Keaton, Paul Emerson Keaton II.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021 at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Tim Porter, Roy Collett and Leo Isom officiating. Entombemnt will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2021.
