Paul R. "Mickey" McKenzie, age 88, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his home.

Paul was born January 30, 1933 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Richard B. and Malta Lewis McKenzie. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his former spouses, Peggy Robinson McKenzie, Frances "Frankie" VanHoose McKenzie, one brother, Charles Arnold McKenzie, and one sister, Vertrice "Pete" Ratliff.

He is survived by his wife, Ora Lee Auxier McKenzie; one son, Paul D. "Dave" (Debbie) McKenzie of Paintsville, Kentucky; two daughters, Virginia Goff and Deborah; one sister, Louise Underwood of Paintsville, Kentucky; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mickey was veteran of the United States Army and retired salesman for Automotive Supply.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Aaron Penix officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2021, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
