Peggy Ann Ward Ramey, age 67, of Riceville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 24 , 2021 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville, Kentucky.

Peggy was born April 12, 1954 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Phillip "Peg" Ward and Faye Etta Castle Ward Taylor. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-father George Taylor; one son, Ricky Lee Goble; three brothers, Larry Alvin Lemaster, Gregory Bains Ward and Terry Eugene Ward; and three deceased sisters, Phyllis Lee Ward, Nola Belle Lemaster, and Garnet Hitchcock.

She is survived by two daughters, Carla Lee Ann Ramey of Riceville, Kentucky and Emily Faye Ramey of Portsmouth, Ohio; one brother, Johnny Lee "JJ" Ramey and wife Kayla of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; two brothers, Toby (Tammy) Ward of Salyersville, Kentucky and Phillip Ward of New York, New York; two sisters, Regina Duty of Paintsville, Kentucky and Mary Sagraves of Flat Gap, Kentucky; nine grandchildren and two honorary grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Otto Butch Whitaker. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021.
