Perry Junior Bentley, age 78, of Wittensville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at his home.

Perry was born November 19, 1943 in Floyd County, Kentucky, son of the late Lafayette and Mary Francis Little Bentley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, James Wesley Bentley, Virgil Bentley, Richard Bentley, Ronnie Draakos.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Jewell Scarberry Bentley; one son, Brian Bentley of Pikeville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Bryan Scott Bentley of Ohio and Perry Alex Bentley of Georgia; two great grandchildren, Isaac Bentley and Asa Bentley of Ohio; siblings, Mae (Wayne) Cogdill of Ohio, Phyllis Hamrick of Ohio, Linda (Tony) Augustine of Ohio, Bob (Brenda) Bentley of River, Kentucky, Pat Rayborn of South Carolina, Pam Petty of Texas, and Bill Bentley of River, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Freddy Salyer and Loyd Lemaster officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2022 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
