Philip Jackson, age 86, of Oil Springs, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026, at his residence.
Mr. Jackson was born September 2, 1939, in Hilliard, Ohio, a son of the late Grady Wayne Jackson and Allie Owens Jackson. He was a maintenance employee with Chrysler and was a United States Army veteran serving five years of active service and one year of inactive service. He served thirteen months in Vietnam during 1961 and 1962.
He was united in marriage to Mary Louise Berberich Jackson on February 6, 1965, in Dayton, OH.
In addition to his wife, Mary Louise, Philip is survived by three sons, Robert (Alicia) Jackson of West Carrollton, Ohio, Jeffrey (Gloria) Jackson of Quincy, Ohio, and Brian Jackson of Riverside, Ohio; one daughter, Janet (Mary) Jackson of Beaver Creek, Ohio; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 21, 2026, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with Father David Wheeler officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jackson Family Cemetery at Oil Springs, Kentucky.
Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 20, 2026.
